resources

appendices
A catch-all page for various works-in-progress. Pages dealing with Messianic passages in the Old Testament, The Infancy and Passion Narratives, and some "Dilemmas" to confound and annoy you.  Most of these pages are helpful lists of relevant people and places, along with a page containing Greek paradigms for those studying koine Greek.

charts & maps
All of the charts, maps, and chronologies that I have found on the internet that are related to topics discussed in class. Some are of my own design, but most are external links to other sites. If you know of something that I am missing, don't hesitate to email me and let me know.

crosswords & quizzes
A great resource! Crossword puzzles, multiple choice and matching quizzes designed to go along with class topics and reading assignments. VERY USEFUL for studying for in-class quizzes, tests, and exams. All are designed with the excellent Hot Potatoes suite of six applications from Half-Baked Software.

roman catholic resources
A page dedicated to information about the Roman Catholic Church, including information about the sacraments, liturgy, calendar, prayer, and doctrine.

glossary
Many of the terms used in class and encountered in the reading that are relevant to Biblical Studies and Early Church History are defined here. The list is far from exhaustive, but thorough enough to be useful.

reading excerpts
Many of the non-Biblical reading assignments given in class or referred to on this site can be found here. These are all public domain excerpts, so the translations may be a bit old.

class policies
All class objectives, rules and requirements can be found here, along with a brief general introduction to the content of the class and an explanation of my grading policy.

the historical jesus
This page is merely a collection of articles on the subject of the issue of the Historical Jesus. Hopefully a useful starting point for research.

the bible & film
A page on which I have collected information relevant to the films shown in class, including information on assignments, some recommended movies, and some links to articles on the subject.

links
My ever-growing links page is arranged by topic. The links are selected according to quality and relevance to the material we study in class. If you want to look further into a subject we have covered, this is probably the place to start.
