CBHS offers a comprehensive testing program for each grade level.

Prospective freshmen take an entrance exam that is administered the first Saturday in December of their eighth grade year.  The High School Placement Test is coordinated by the Director of Admissions.

Students in grades 9-11 participate in standardized testing appropriate for their grade level.  The PLAN and PSAT/NMSQT are administered on a national test date in October. Students are given test-prep information in early October. This testing program is coordinated by the Director of Guidance, Marilynn Weedon.

Beginning their junior year, students take the ACT and/or the SAT, which are college admission tests. Students applying to selective colleges often take the SAT Subject Tests, which are used  for placement on the college level.  These tests are administered at local high schools and colleges that have been designated as national test centers.  CBHS is a test center for the ACT every month that it is offered except June.  Br. Robert O'Kane coordinates the administration of the ACT at CBHS.

CBHS also administers Advanced Placement Exams in several subjects. Students enrolled in AP classes take these exams in May. The Director of College Counseling, Valerie Jones, coordinates this testing program.
